Treasures of Aht Urgan

So the FFXI Fan Festival put on by Square-Enix just finished up this weekend. There was lots of new information about the changes coming in the new expansion to the game in April. Lots of cool stuff, including:

• Chocobo breeding and racing!
• Three new jobs!
• Corsair (Now we have Ninjas and Pirates!)
• Blue Mage (pay back those monsters for all the crap they've done to you)
• And the wild-card: Puppetmaster (very little known about this class)
• A new southeast-asian themed continent (the aforementioned Aht Urgan)
• Beseiged! This event has the bad guys invading your cities. You have to fight them off!
• And most of the existing classes are getting some upgrades.
• The Xbox360 version looks pretty sweet. On par with the PC version on a nice PC.

It's looking to be pretty cool. The best write-up I've seen is this one at 1up.com, which is currently the most-read article on the site. Interesting.
