Those who read my blog may have noticed that quarksff.org is experiencing some difficulties. Namely, web page defacement. It appears that our host has been compromised. It looks like our files and database are intact. I suspect that it was the web server software itself that was hit. I'll see what I can find out about this tomorrow morning. Right now I'm going to flop into bed and try to get some sleep. More as it comes. EDIT: DAMMIT I had a lot of info about what's going on written up as an addendum to this post, but it got lost into the ether. Long story short: I have a full file and DB backup. DB is pristine, all index.* files are mangled. Will need to rebuild Mambo image. I reuploaded index*.* files to the quarksff.org/administrator/ page. That let me get access to the DB. I reuploaded quarksff.org/index.php, but the hacked version is still showing up. Reeks of a cache issue somewhere in the pipe. I paged Dave Rebarchik with a terse message. I hope he will get back to me tomorrow. People, get in contact with me ASAP. I should be available all day tomorrow via AIM and MSN. Nate especially - I think some coordination would be handy here. Now I sleep. I've got about three hours before I have to get up for work. dammit
